About the Role
Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to our People/tangata, ensuring their well-being and comfort on a daily basis.
Requirements
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards People/tangata.
Full Class 1 driving License is essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Certification in first aid is a plus, but not essential (we will support you to gain First Aid Certification).
Ideally you will hold a minimum NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing level 3 or be prepared to upskill in this area
The initiative to push people for their goals, is energetic, outgoing, and can think outside the box. You need to be respectful of others thinking, and their way of living life that may be different to your own.
Flexibility to work shifts across a roster, including weekends.
Ability to work in an environment of cultural understanding, dignity, equality, fairness and transparency.
Basic computer Literacy
